During the aging process, green coffee beans rest inside freshly emptied whiskey barrels, absorbing the character of the wood and spirit. This controlled aging—often around 30 days—allows the beans to take on subtle notes of oak, vanilla, and caramel without overpowering the natural qualities of the coffee itself.
